Although there are many entrepreneurship events, none compares to Uni5.

This competition will gather for the first time tech and business students coming from English and french communities under one passion: Entrepreneurship.

Initiated by YEP, HEC Montréal’s entrepreneurship association. Uni5 is the occasion to discover the cosmopolitan universe of Montreal by stopping each day in one university. During 4 days, you will collaborate with your crew to build your own startup.

To complete your project, you will be accompanied by coaches that will give their expertise and the required knowledge needed for the fulfillment of the diverse projects.

• March 16th, 2017 (Starting at 17h): HEC Montréal – DAY 1: Form your crew*
• March 17th, 2017: Concordia – DAY 2: → Validate your idea
• March 18th, 2017: ETS – DAY 3: Create your prototype
• March 19th, 2017: HEC/POLY – DAY 4: Finalize your pitch

*Some rules will apply when creating the crew

Rule 1: One student per university in each team
Rule 2: The teams will be made on the first day
Rule 3: The teams will decide together on the idea for their project

At the cost of 60 dollars, this event will last 4 days with each day being held at a different university. (Including food, workshops, coaching, activities and the material needed for the completion of the competition)

UNI5 will gather 100 students divided into teams of 5 with one student from each university. This will thus favor the collaboration and confrontation of ideas, which will then bring innovation.

The first edition of UNI5 thus has an objective to give different students the opportunity to compete against each other while gathering and ultimately creating the first students-entrepreneurs network in Montréal.
