Canada’s Business Model Competition 2017

The application deadline for the 5th edition of Canada’s Business Model Competition® has been extended to February 15, 2017. 

The competition will take place at Dalhousie University on March 10 and 11, 2017 and is hosted and organized by Launch Dal, an initiative of the Norman Newman Centre for Entrepreneurship in collaboration with Dalhousie University’s Rowe School of Business.

Student entrepreneurs from across Canada will be traveling to Halifax to showcase their startup for a chance to win their share of the $50,000 prize pool presented by Deloitte Canada. 

Canada’s Business Model Competition®

The competition is open to current full-time Canadian university students of any level of study in any discipline up to six months after graduation date. In addition, this year’s International Business Model Competition (IBMC) will be held May 11 and 12, 2017 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. Canada’s Business Model Competition® is the national qualifier competition for the IBMC and the first place team will automatically advance to the International Business Model Competition.
