Startup Open House: 5 Startups Worth Visiting (They’re Hiring!)

Written by Aya Schechner.

Are you ready to get a behind-the-scenes look at where Montreal’s most innovative ideas are born?

Now in its fourth year, Startup Open House invites you to freely access the offices of hundreds of startups across Canada on Thursday, September 22 from 3-8pm. This event is a chance for members of the public, job seekers and students to discover some of Canada’s most innovative companies.

Many of these startups stem straight out of McGill’s Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship.

Reserve your free ticket online (hurry – before they run out!) and spend your Thursday evening exploring the workspaces of some of the city’s most successful startups. You’ll get to meet awesome CEOs, network with the teams, try the products, and potentially land your dream job!

This year, Startup Open House has partnered with Jobbio to make it easy for participants to find and apply for jobs. Dozens of Montreal startups are currently hiring, making Startup Open House the perfect reverse career-fair opportunity.

Startup Open House will also be celebrating its vibrant ecosystem with an after party on Notman House’s new terrace.

Check in at one of three starting points across the city, and then use the Path Builder to plan your route from one office to the next!
